Forest School gives children the opportunity to learn about the natural environment, how to handle risks, how to use their own initiative to solve problems and co-operate with others. Forest School runs throughout the year, in all weathers (except for high winds). Children use full sized tools, play, learn boundaries of behaviour, establish and grow in confidence, self-esteem and become self-motivated.

A Forest School acts as an outdoor classroom where children can explore, investigate and discover the natural environment. It offers children regular opportunities to learn social, physical and educational skills while encouraging an appreciation and understanding of the environment.
